THE COMPLEXITY OF LONELINESS

 





Loneliness is a general and worldwide problem for youth and adult population, and a number of different studies have linked it to chronic conditions, include: lung disease, heart disease, stroke, hypertension, mental disorders etc. Loneliness is a psychological problems, such as depression, psychological stress, and anxiety. Loneliness need to some problems in the adult populations. But limited interventions have demonstrated long-term effectiveness in reducing loneliness in adults with these same chronic conditions. What is the relationship between loneliness and health? Loneliness as something to do with our health.

Many more elderly people living alone, and some of them are at risk of feeling lonely or been isolated, loneliness and isolation are two different things: a person can be alone and don’t feel lonely, the fact about loneliness is that it is natural, loneliness arise at any moment of life and can affect anyone, irrespective of gender or age. Loneliness as considered to be rooted in weakness and something individual should be able to eliminate I, since it is not a physical disease. Furthermore, there is differences between emotional loneliness and social loneliness.  Some defined loneliness from different angle:  it is a negative response to what will desires or our expectations. 

In a general sense, it is assumed that emotional loneliness refers to the absence of an attachment  discover with feeling of isolation and social loneliness as the lack of a social network, the absence of circle of people that allows an individual to develop a sense of belonging of company, of being part of a community. Loneliness and isolation are different from each other. Loneliness and isolation place people at risk vulnerability or social frailty. Furthermore to stop being lonely you to be connected.

IS LONELINESS A PROBLEM?

I have learned  the different between feeling alone and feeling lonely and how you can feel lonely even in a crowd full of people. Can loneliness cause mental health problem? Feeling lonely isn't in itself a mental problem, but the are linked. Having a mental health can increase chance of feeling lonely. For example, some people may not understand what certain mental problems mean, so can find it difficult to explain your problem to them.
